For months, since May, I had been wandering the streets looking for food and water. When the weather became unbearably hot, a nice family took me in for comfort. During this time I became very ill, even though they had taken me to the doctor and got my shots. It is believed that I contracted distemper while I was on the streets and the inoculation was not enough to protect me. For a while crazy things happen to me as a result of the infection. It is now all under control since I am full grown. After many weeks of care, I have recovered. I am healthy. I am one of the favorites with the volunteers. I am very mellow and am housebroke, have great manners and walk on a leash well. I love all animals and people, big or little. I am neutered and have all my vaccinations. I will never get distemper again. I have a very sweet disposition and will sit on command. Let me join your family.
